Over-delivery of line is 300 00 percent but the allow over-delivery is only 100 percent for Item in AX (D3650)

Error:
overdelivery of line is 300 00 percent but the allow overdelivery is only 100 percent for Item in AX (D3650)

Scenario:

Error coming while creating Item Arrival Journal for PO

Check the PO's Ordered Qty and its Unit coming from Item Stock Unit and Match PO Purchase Qty and its Unit is purch unit.

In this case Ordered Qty is 1 and Stock unit is Each and Purchase Qty is 1 and Purch Unit is Case.
So Case is greater than Each so system giving error while creating Item Arrival Journal for PO
as below overdelivery of line is 300 00 percent but the allow overdelivery is only 100 percent for Item in AX

Solution:

In this case Ordered Qty should be 4 because its unit is each and PO Purch Qty should be 1 because its unit is Case.

Updated Ordered Qty to 4 to work .


OR

Look at what Overdelivery is set at on the Delivery tab of the order lines.  Its populated at the time of order entry so if you updated it on the item afterwards, it is still set at 0 on the order line.
